Today marks the One Year Anniversary for this very sweet couple who happen to be our Daughter and Son In Law. They chose a great location for a Fall Elopement at Carrigan Farms in Mooresville, North Carolina. This beautiful rock … Continue reading
This is a recent wedding we photographed at The Dairy Barn in Fort Mill. Just had to share some of their couple photos taken during our intimate session following the ceremony. The ASC Greenway always provides such natural beauty and of course we make sure that we plan those photos at the time of day when it’s most flattering for our couple. Enjoy!

Danielle has always had a LOVE for The Arts. She graduated from the SC Governors School for Arts and Humanities and went on to attend Winthrop University where she and Medo would meet and fall in love. She still actively teaches dance at Just Dancin and found many ways to incorporate her love of dance into their Wedding Day. The Wedding took place at the beautiful Magnolia Room in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Their 14-month-old daughter, Leila, who was the cutest little flower girl ever, joined the Bride and Groom. The outdoor ceremony had rose petals in a heart design that made a perfect isle runner. The inside of the venue was decorated with brilliant color and beautiful decorations in every direction.
Like most Brides, Danielle loves Pinterest and had been collecting ideas for months for her wedding. Her inspiration/idea boards gave us great insight as to the couples likes, dislikes, style etc. Together we came up with a plan and a timeline that would allow us to capture what our couple wanted in a realistic way and in a realistic time frame. In the end we can truly say that open communication with our couple, a well thought out plan of action and a great team of photographers made this day a total success. As a special treat for the guests, Danielle’s choreographed a dance that her dancers performed for everyone during dinner at the reception. Danielle and Medo danced well on into the night to the tunes of Music Express until their limo arrived. The guests surrounded them with sparklers at the end of the evening and we of course had to play a little more and get some fun shots before they left.
A shout out to some great vendors who helped make this day a total success.

Meg and David were married at The Dairy Barn on October 29th, 2011. They decided to do 1st look and get all of their couple and family photos done before the ceremony, which was wonderful because we are able to spend a little extra time on photos with the couple and they didn’t have to keep their guests waiting after the ceremony.
Creative Solutions coordinated the event and the wedding décor looked like it was right out of a magazine. Cary Roberts Design created all the floral arrangements that brought such natural beauty, color and life to the room. The flowers complemented all the beautiful little details and transformed this rustic Dairy Barn into a work of art. The Wow Factor Cakes also impressed everyone with a beautiful creation that tasted as great as it looks in the photos.

Amy and Steve were married at the Ballantyne Hotel in September of 2011. This is a beautiful venue with so much to offer, from the tastefully decorated interior to the impeccably landscaped golf course that surrounds the hotel. The staff is excellent and food is to die for.
This was Amy and Steve’s second wedding. They had planned a small intimate wedding of approximately 60 people and used a close friend to help them with all the final details for the day. Amy had the most beautiful flower girls who were as cute as they could be after having their hair done by the fabulous Joni Lineberger of Creations Hair and Makeup.
Derek of Split Second Sound set the tone for the evening and kept the party rocking right through the couple’s departure.

October 22, 2011 was a picture perfect mountain day in Hendersonville. North Carolina. Carolina blue skies surrounded The Lodge in Grand Highlands at Bearwallow Mountain. We had been waiting with anticipation for this event for months and it was finally here. Although we had seen photos from the venue, we were ecstatic when we saw all that was there for us to work with. As soon as we drove up, a white horse came galloping down to the fence to meet us and welcome us to Bearwallow. This truly was a perfect location for a mountain top wedding. Family and friends from all over the country arrived to share this special day with Bethany and Josh. Everyone was enjoying the beautiful ceremony overlooking the Carolina Mountains that were in peak season with their brilliant color resting against a beautiful blue sky.
Bethany and Josh put photography as one of their highest priorities. Together we worked to create a timeline that allowed us ample opportunity to take advantage of our beautiful location as well as timing our photos so that the lighting would be complimentary. This allowed us to get several wonderful images for our couple that they will be able to look back on for a lifetime.
Fort Mill Photography is available for travel and we absolutely love to experience new locations. We always work with our clients to make sure that we are utilizing everything the venue has to offer in the best possible light.

It was a busy year for the Small family. Both Cami and her older sister Star married 2 months apart.
As you can imagine, planning one wedding for a family can be overwhelming enough but having two within 2 months could be a bit challenging but everything came together with the help of family and friends. The sisters are 18 months apart and have always shared experiences so this was the perfect opportunity to bounce ideas back and forth and give support to one another.
Cami is a Pediatric Intensive Care nurse at Duke Hospital and Stephen is a graduate student in physics at UNC-Chapel Hill. Looking back they both credit the success of their wedding to the combined effort of so many different people that made their day come together. Each have large families and the combined love and support they received made a huge impact. Cami’s cousin, a bridesmaid, did her hair, Her neighbor and childhood friend was their coordinator, and she wore the same veil her sister had worn earlier that year. Her sisters were maid and matron of honor, her brothers were both ushers, and one of them even drove the getaway car. Stephen’s brothers were all groomsmen, and Cami said she couldn’t imagine marrying into a more welcoming family. One of Stephen’s groomsmen’s girlfriends is a pastry chef, and made them a beautiful four-tiered wedding cake. Stephen and Cami worked very hard to save money and plan their wedding, and said they couldn’t have imagined a better result!
