We love the outdoors and it’s no secret that we shoot most of our work out in the open with natural light. You just can’t get any better than what Mother Nature provides for us. Recently we got an opportunity to pack up the Jeep and head out to a private farm for an engagement shoot with Heather and Whit. We were having a lot of fun taking photos with the barn and the flowers in the field but then decided to do something most probably wouldn’t do. There was a pond way out in a fenced in area where the livestock grazed so we loaded everything back in the Jeep and headed out across the pasture for some more photos by the pond. We pulled our equipment out and started taking photos when the cows started closing in around us. In no time at all we had probably 30 cows including at least one bull looking us right in the eyes. So we used the opportunity and kept shooting for some great photos with our new friends as a backdrop. They soon moved on to find our Jeep much more interesting than us, which made for another great shot. We made our way to the pond and finished up the shoot with a beautiful sky reflecting on the water. We left the field in peace and our Jeep was untouched except for a couple of drool spots by that big bull.
